For a little over a year now I've been looking to talk to the owner of this car. Tonight was my night. I was pulling out of Target and saw it in the parking lot, decided I would take a few pictures. Then I noticed the owner was still in the car. I talked to her and her son for about 15 minutes, and they should be on the site later.

Anyways story is that the original owner of the car had the work done to use as a show car. He couldn't keep up with the payments and Ford Credit took the car back. After being passed around to 2 other owners, the car ended up with these folks.

That's horrible, but interesting. I can see myself laughing very loudly if I saw that on the road.

Interesting look. I remember someone posting a picture of this car a while back. Was taken in their sideview mirror, IIRC.

It looks interesting, reminds me the new S-class (maybe that's where the Benz got their styling from??), I think an LSE grill and if all the lines and gaps are correct it would look pretty cool.

Good job on taking pictures though.

Owner must have been creeped out with you playing paparatzi.

I agree it doesn't all fit right. I do respect the idea and the work it must've taken to even pull it off. Just something different, and we all certainly like to mix it up here.

wow - that car has several designs thrown onto one car - IMHO nothing complimenting each other.
- The stock black plastic grill with the chrome lower grill.
- The headlights ruin the body line that comes down the side then across the top of the stock headlamps and into the top grill line...
- Wheels don't match anything

seems for all the money that would have cost - he could have done a lot with it.

I wonder what that dealership though when they saw what the guy did to the headlights.

Probably "Damn it, now we can't sell this at a decent price."

+1 There is a lot of work put into the fenders alone not counting the hood. Those headlight ruin the lines on that car

Exactly

headlights are horrible... as are those wheels. An LSE grill would match much better with that lower grill piece (which I think looks like cheap junk anyway).

Color looks interesting....

Over-all... I give it a rating of FAIL.

I like the idea... but the execution was terrible. The headlights stick out too far, and they screw with the body line on the fender as previously stated.

Love the wheels, but they don't go with the color of that car. Id rock em though.

Not an improvement on the lines of the LS, but I think the lower grill is just about as bad as the lights.

I do have to say, the execution/quality of the install could have been a lot worse.......

Those lights look better here:
