For reasons that I'll not go into, I need a new throttle body. I'm seeing that the computer might have to "relearn" the throttle body. How do I go about doing that? Is it a simple matter of resetting the ecu? What do I have to do once the throttle body is installed?

Thanks for your help.

Tony

since you don't want to go into to it, I wont ask, but I will say that I hop it is not because you are getting a "throttle body" code...

There is no relearning or resetting for a new or swapped throttle body. (Where did you see that?) You don't have to do anything other than remove and reinstall. If this is for an ETC failsafe issue, then the odds are low that swapping the throttle body will resolve it.

It is not for any engine code. I accidentally physically damaged the old one.

well then, thats definitely a legit reason to replace a LS TB.

You may have to reset the TPS. Information is readily available in the literature on doing so. You'll need a digital VOM.
