Its an option in a gen 1. It will have a button to toggle it off next to the rear window defrost if you car came with it.

Gears first. Stall is something waaaaay down the mod list.

Gears, exhaust, and tune and you will be more than happy.

My 93 and 95 do. The button is right in front of shifter. Does not matter which first, your gonna do both so no biggie. I just put a stall in on stock gears. I would also put gears in with stock stall.

a little annoying, but ok if you leave overdrive off until you are on the highway.
