Ive never dealt with him but I can see if there is any feedback on Mustangforums about him, going to check now

EDIT - I got nothing on him.

ahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I gets it now. You both suck huge sack! I need me one them too!!!!!!!! Of course that tire spin issue wont be a problem for me like it was for you.... Locker FTW:D

cause he bumped a wire and it came loose from the sensor it was reading. Yeah he had me stumped too when he called in a panic

That tire spin won't be an issue for me either

hee hee.... now I just need to see if I can beat one of you guys in a race..... I have more power, you have that sweet little toy in there. If you win, I def buy one. If I win, I def buy one. I guess the whole point would just be to race LOL And pete, dont worry buddy, I'll take the bottle out for ya. Thats 150 horse advantage I dont think you can cover. :p

yeah, good idea. Only beat me by a little bit to make me feel better lol.

lol... i think with that new mod it should be close.... and you might win. As for with the bottle, good night I dont care what LS wants a piece. ONly down side to that is Id have to run my stickies or the rear will never plant

i've got a buddy that drives around with a stockish SHO (not the cool new one) that drives around with a home made sneaky pete inside his stock air box for just such a occasion.

his sneaky pete consist of one of little CO2 containers(not the little baby ones, its like 10"x2") from a paint ball gun filled with giggle gas, a solenoid and a wireless doorbell to trigger the solenoid all ran off of a couple 9v batterys, i dont think it does too much, but he swears that many races has been won by this little guy

if thats what I wanted, id just run with my big bottle. My nitrous is so hidden anyway that even guys in the biz didnt catch it till they saw the bottle I had on display at a car show. Thats why my install took days instead of hours.

I remember you talking about that stealth nitrous setup before. To me that sounds like the only way to go. Especially since the average cop couldn't find it if pulled over.

Does the advance trac still work when you switch it to a limited slip differential? may be a dumb question but i'm just curious. That's why im being hesistant about doing it to my gen 1 until winter ends here in wi even though it hasnt started yet.

advancetrac is the car sensing slip..... the LSD limits slip. So they help eachother out. I would do it now instead of later. These cars have issues getting going in the snow and the LSD is a big help!

its a cool ideal (other than driving around all the time with a live system) and he has used it in many of his cars, the only problem is that the little a$$ bottle can only hold 6-10 seconds of spray depending on the jet, and your screwed if the dude your racing says "i had a sh!tty launch, lets do it again" I think it would just be better to do a real good job hiding all the components and having a real system, plus he is relying on the MAF to read all the extra air and add enough fuel, I still dont think its such a hot ideal to spray through the MAF, how many cops are going to check for a system in a lincoln anyway?

where is the best place for me to find a used 8.8" 28 spline LSD?

Mine came out of a 2004 Mustang GT. I got it from a member here for a pretty good deal (a little over $100 shipped IIRC).

Maybe hit up a mustang forum. Find someone who upgraded their diff. Maybe post a WTB thread or something.

what kinda vehicle are these generally in. I've never dealt with rear ends before so I'm gonna buy the parts then have a shop do it. I know lame but thats one thing I don't wanna even chance messing up.

unless you are going to gear up big time, its not worth the trouble IMO. Id run the 8" with gen 2 gears and a trac loc unless you are looking to go big nuts with it! Cost vs gains is crazy if your just going to run like a 3.73 for example. Hell your not going to see a big difference from gen 1 to gen 2 gears either, but its not going to cost an arm and a leg. You already have the right pumpkin installed, dont need a custom drive shaft etc

i missread sorry. I see now you just want the lsd..... my above advice is still true of people wanting to go with the 8.8

haha thats fine. yeah im not really into fabbing an 8.8 into my ls for my first rear end project. maybe once I get the basics down and win the lottery. I have a feeling that wont happen so im guessing the 8.8 wont either...
