I'm trying to put my shifter handle back on after replacing the blend door actuator in one of my marks. The problem I'm having is I can't get the sleeve that slides down so you can access the torx screws to slide back up all the way. Everything looks to be lined up, and I have tried it in different gears, but no luck. Is there a certain trick to doing this? Also, my OD button isn't working now either, is that because the sleeve isn't all the way up? Or another problem altogether?
