I got the LS back from the body shop today and decided to put the chin spoiler on. I haven't seen one on a Gen 2 LSE or 06 LS yet and figured I would try it out and see how it looks (mine is an 06). I bought it off of Ebay, the EZ lip for 35.00. It looks good for the price. Now I just have to go back to the body shop and have them fix the gap in the front of the hood. More pics of the LS to come once I get a more respectible camera and not this droid X garbage.

lip looks good. Why's there a gap in your hood?

I was rear ended a few weeks ago and was pushed into the car in front of me. The original hood was destroyed so they put a new one on and didn't adjust it properly. Not a big deal, should be an easy fix.

hope nobody got hurt. was it just the hood that got trashed?

$35 lol.

Sorry to laugh but that is probably the same exact rubber weatherstripping you can get from Home Depot for $5. Better pics would help. It looks like it sticks out pretty horizontal instead of hanging vertically.

Is that the home depot lip?

Looks like the mod manoli put on

I bought if off of Ebay from EZ lip (http://ezlip.com/). I imagine it is very similar to the home depot lip. It is a foam type material. It seems like it is decent quality but we shall see how it holds up through an Illinois winter lol.

No one was hurt. The hood, grille, front and rear bumper covers, passenger side headlight, A/C condenser, and some small plastic parts under the hood were all damaged. The bumper covers were fixable but everything else was replaced.

It could be the same stuff as the home depot weatherstripping. I bought this before I knew of that stuff. Oh well, live and learn lol. It hangs at close to a 45 degree angle. It is very close to the Mach 1 chin spoiler as far as angle. Weather permitting, I will get some better pics soon.
