Gears for Rear end

I have tried to search this forum but i need help/advice...I have a 2004 LS V8 Sport, is there different gears out there that will work with my rear end. If so which ones and what will the difference be with a different gear ratio? (better power transfer...both rear wheels turn like when doing a burnout) Thanks

yes... you need to swap out the rear end if want to upsize.... you can down size with your stock rear. I'll find the thread
