they dont make mine anymore either. tsw hockenheim R's they're real pita to clean and get dirty fast but the tires are pretty easy to find

Yup but like KK said it's cast iron not aluminum. 99 Cobra will work too.

does the speed cal fix the shift schedule or just the speedo? and will 4.10's from a ranger work?

The speedcall just fixes the speedo.... and yes 4.10's from a Ranger will work...

A tune is where you modify the computers programming that controls everything the engine and transmission does.

With a 94 you will need a chip, these can be purchased with the tuning written on it from various vendors such a Blue Oval Chips, The Fast Parts Network, Reinhart, Etc....

BOC's says there chip will take the place of the speedcal, any disadvantage to that?

On some cars it will.... but trust me on a first gen Mark VIII the tune CANNOT fix the speedo....
Just replace the speedo gear.
I have the 23 Tooth Speedometer Gear in my car for over 2 years and still works great.
Should only take 10-15 min to change it out.

you're a lifesaver kustomizing. but the plot thickens.. so what you're saying stone is that you just tossed the gears in with a speedo gear and nothing else and it's ran fine for 2 years?

alright i think i've got this on lock i dont NEED the tune but after i get the gears & everything else i want on it i will need the tune to get everything running at its best. i'm surprised i havent been offered the "spoon" yet haha
