I was driving my car today and I was thinking that the gauges are REALLY outdated!

Do we have anything to help that out? An overlay or a gauge transplant that would make it look more modern?

I think it would really help out the interior on the Gen II's with a good looking set of Gauges in the dash!

you must be high about the gauges man! They are SOOOO 90's its painful! You should sit in a newer car and see some of the options that are around!

I don't care what you say, the gen 2 gauges are nice.... It's not a new car, why try and make it one...

other than being kind of basic I love my gauges and the way they look, I like the smooth color of the light

I have been working on my own set for about a year - I never have time to get them done!

Anyway, here is a low-res "sneak peak" and what I started. I hated the cartoonish version of the typical "Nascar" looking gauges out there. I wanted a more refined modern look.

By the way, I will be moving the message center lights into it also but they will be layered like the battery light so that when out you can not see the indicators. Well, thats the plan I need a spare gauge set to dissect before I send this in for printing.

And no, no one can get a high-res version of this. When they go to print you can order them directly with any changes you want.

only thing thats ever bothered me about the gauges, is that the warning lamps are at the bottom........i got my seat all the way back and to the lowest setting, and i cant see the things, just the glare in the clear plastic when they come on.......

but at least we got a temp gauge, as innacurate as it may be in a Gen2 ;)

my parents Versa doesnt have an f'n temp gauge!!!!!! :shifty:

Well think about it, you would have a nice shift indicator that would never work anyway :(

I can't wait to see those done... Thats the sort of class I would love to see in the Mark... Let me know what you need and I will gladly contribute to get this project done so I can have a set! I'm serious... get at me!!!

Lol... no offense but those gauges look like pic and paste crap made in word... not nearly as nice as the factory gauges. I put in some very similar looking gauges in my Vic made by Scott Herbacek, meh.... the quality just isn't as high as oem.... I doubt any aftermarket will be.
