I've searched for 30 minutes now and have not found a post of the tank leaking from the top rear. I filled up on way home from work and worked from home the next day. My driveway is on a bit of decline so the fuel sits to the back, but not that much of an angle. In the afternoon I noticed a gas small and looked under neath and it looks like its leaking from where the bottom and top of the tank pieces are jointed.
i'm in a snow belt so yes there is rust. I just finished replacing the brake lines that rusted out. That brime is a mofo and then some. 7 years ago when I bought the car, it has no rust. Now the front fenders and rear quarter panel have holes in them you could put a pop can through.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
