Funky Search Results

Totally agreed. Folks get bashed for not using the search to find their answers, when attempting to use it is rather frustrating.
If you remember a thread, and thus the precise wording that was used, it's easy to dig something up. For someone just starting here - and particularly those that don't have the "correct" mechanic terminology - it's almost impossible.
We really need a better organization method here. The LS Owner's Guide is an excellent resource, but has a bunch of misc postings between the good stuff. We need more tech articles, more threads that organize threads, etc. All good stuff, assuming someone has time to do it.
Extracting Joe's and Quik's brains into text format would be a great start. :)

In other words, we need an active moderator. There's also a plenty of new how-tos and guides that should get pinned.

No Change...

RCodePaul how is that trans issue?

I haven't done anything on it. I was hoping to gain some understanding of the problem here before digging into it. At this point I am convinced it's the band not engaging but I'm curious whether it's the band, servo or valve body.
I am thinking I'll drop the pan and vb and see if anything is obvious.

I probably could have done it in the time I burned the other night reading the sticky on the supercharger build. Holy crap that's a long thread even if you just read the OP posts.
