So saturday I jump in the car and start it up and had the unwelcome battery light poke me in the eye.
So I pulled the alt out, run to Oriellys and pick up a new alt and a idler pully assembly and a belt. I changed everything out and I noticed the powersterring pump is leaking, at the fitting that has the sensor attached, Is there any way to fix that?
And BTW the alternator plug is Gold at Five Star Ford, In NRH Texas. $36.99
Also I discovered Im dropping Trans fluid near the bell housing.
I guess I have to drop the pan on the tranny, it only has about 1500 miles on it.
At least this alt will last me 2 weeks hopefully until I can get the new HO.
