Fuel, Reset, Status buttons

Last night i pressed the fuel button and the dayum button panel pushed into the dash. The right side si the only thing holding on. I thought i saw a thread on this but i could not find it. How can i fix this, do i need to take the whole radio console out.

Just pull the vent with the buttons straight out. Glue or melt the broken end.

that whole top piece will just pull out, how the hell is it held in, with clips or something. kind of scared to just yank on it....

Yes, It just pulls out. Some clips hold it in. If you have a hook tool, it is easiest to start at the bottom corners. It seems to break where the screws hold the buttons to the panel. Epoxy works well.

Use steady increasing pressure.
