hi

I’m in the need for a new fuel pump…. Real soon! Not sure if should go with the 255. Or stay with stock one, I like to get the 255 would it be a same fit? would I need a new regulator too? And where can I find the best deal on one?

The stock fuel pump is overpriced. Get a 190 lph or 255 lph Walbro for about $100.

255 and I can't remember the part number. Just give them a call and he knows which one you'll need. Tell him you are from LvC and that Joey or I sent you his way.

He wanted to get more involed with the Mark VIII's and LvC.

i tried to call jdsperformance for the last 2 days no ones ever there.... any other place maybe i can try too call?

i put the 255 walbro in my 2 gen, just about anywhere offers one for a mustang. Just get the 96-98 cobra pump. BBK's are also walbro pumps which you can get out of summit that number is bbk-1622 for 130. I got a kirban adustable fuel pressure regulator from blue oval ford that goes from 30-70lbs for around 100 also. They also list them on ebay. Hope this helps. Oh and if you find the walbro pump you can buy just the pump...they will tell you that you have to buy the kit for it to work, but thats for the cobra all you need is the actual pump. It will save you about $15.

Try www.rockauto.com Becareful if a part for a T-Bird or Mustang will work use that part over searching for a Mark VIII part. $20 to $40 higher in price for a Mark VIII part that is the same as used on a T-Bird or Mustang.

Thanks For All The Info, I Just Receaved My New Pump Today, It Came In A Plasic Bag It’s A Walbro With Numbers On It 04406-3 Now How Will I Know If They Sent The Right One? Is There A Way To Tell If It Is The 190 Or The 255 Pump?
