:slam is it difficult to change the fuel pump and where is it? i took it to a mechanic and he said that after a while of driving it loses fuel pressure. $565 to fix. is this reasonable? please help! jaime

are you driving a lincoln right i think the fuel pump is in the gastank
i think that to say maybe 450 would be a little to mouch so that is to mouch i think but not shure
the way i go with making shure the fuel pump dosnt go
is to make shure you always have a 1/4 tank of gas atleast that will stop the pump from burning up most times

You have two pumps in your tank, a jet pump and a the fuel pump. You should alwasy replace them in together.

You can access the fuel pumps by taking out the back seat. There is an access panal on both sides.

You need a special tool to remove the retaining rings though. That doesnt sound like a bad price if it includes both pumps and labor.
