fuel Gauge

I would say that you need to get a message center from a 97 or 98 and see if it works. I don't think that a 94 one will work, mainly due to the huge differences electrically in the 97-98 from the 93-95.

I don't really know how you would check the interchange, Hollander doesn't list it... maybe see how the ford part numbers cross, Max could probably help with that.

I'm in.. I'll host another one in July of 09... Oh Bradnon.. are you 21 yet? LOL

I met the Kid this past summer ... he's fun and decent person but you just have to get use to his sarcasm... It must be a MN thing LOL...

I won't be 21 until 2011 :(

It's Minnesota nice btw...:D

i went outside and the gauge moves. But as soon as i turn the key the gauge goes to zero and its the message display it has to be, i talk to jamie and he has one, ill just buy that one from him

If you go to the fuel economy settings on the display what do they say? Will it tell you gallons till empty and range?

1st gens and second gens are different in that area too
first gens will show.. miles til empty, gallons left and gallons USED

second gens dont show "gallons used" only miles til empty and gallons left.

The second gens have more stuff in the "clock" area too..whereas the first gens dont hvae the date, day ect.. nor do the first gens have the "elapse time, trip timer".

I seriously doubt they will interchange... might even "blow stuff up" if you attempt it...
