Was changing the fuel filter this morning and one of the clips that hold in the fuel line cracked.
I tried searching to see if anyone had posted a part number or anything but didnt find similar post.

So are these just generic clips or a special Ford part?
I would rather not drive the car without having a solid clip in there, just to be safe.
Thanks again guys.

I got mine from a local parts store (NOT PepBoys, AutoZone, etc.). Been fine for over a year now. Oh, and those are typical Ford fuel filter clips.

My replacement Purolater fuel filter from Pep Boys actually came with these clips in the box.

BTW, if you use the correct removal tool, then you don't have to pull the clips out, and they don't get broken.

There are 2 sizes of these clips, and my 2000 LS uses the larger of the two sizes. My 2003 Marauder uses the smaller ones, so I don't know if the LS has mixed sizes depending on the year of car. Match up the old one with whatever you find for new ones. You don't want to go to a dealer for these. My Marauder needed a pair of these things and I got slammed for around $5 each. the bad part is that my new filter had come with a pair, but they were the larger ones and I needed the smaller ones.
