fuel computer data error ... ive checked the other threads still need help BAD!!!

okay so... 2000 Lincoln ls v8 .. fuel computer data error, and check advance track, appear on the hud.. I checked all fuses and swapped different relays around to see if that was the issue... couldn't find that as the issue... the main fuel pump showed a dead short so I replaced that with a new complete sending unit the jet pump tests fine .. still wont start no fuel at the rail no hum from the pump ... so I plugged in my reader and its un able to establish a link ... and prior to this ive already swapped the coil packs and plugs and it still ran like a bag of crap wondering if my computer is shot or wiring or if any body has anything to suggest I do not want to dump this car but I also need to get her running sooner then later so anybody willing please help

I bought a 2000 Lincoln Ls yesterday that won't crank, just clicks on time upon trying, and now, actually, it doesnt even do that.... did you check the number 2 diode in the trunk? Make sure connecting. I've got a 100 percent charge on the battery, new starter, and still wont start. Dash lights go dark while I'm trying to start. help?

There is a fuel pump cut off switch somewhere up near the driver floor panel I believe?

My LS had that error for years, but ran, only with some weird tail light issues. Turned out to be a frayed wire on the main engine harness.
