I'm selling Stainless Steel rear shock mounts for all year Mark VIII's, to easily use Thunderbird shocks. I know from personal experience that these work perfectly with Monroe Sensatrac shocks.

First, these were cut with a water jet, then the holes were threaded and bolts installed. For the final touch, I tack-welded the bolts to the plate and bead-blasted them.

I used 1/4" 304 stainless steel for the plate and stainless steel bolts/washers/nyloc nuts, so it should never rust. However, they can always be painted, just like any other piece of metal. These pieces should outlast anything else on your car. :p Also, the fasteners are metric threaded to match the rest of the car.

The price is $40 shipped anywhere in the U.S.A.

I think I'll have about 10 sets, so get them before they run out. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do another run of these once they're gone.

The last picture shows the first set I made with 40mm bolts. Every other set will be made using 30mm bolts. 40mm is much longer than is needed.

Thanks to Gilby for being the only one on LVC to buy a set. Sold all the others on LOD.

If I happen to get some more made, I'll let you guys know....

Jay still sells them and generally has them in stock. I'll shoot him a message on Facebook and let him know you're looking.

Sorry, I've been working A LOT lately, on top of my property flooding twice in the last 2 months, and subsequently hurting my back a few days ago while building a flood barrier wall. Not a great time in my life right now. lol.

Anyway, PM me if you're still interested, and I'll send you my PayPal address.

Thanks,
Jay
