I had the intention of using these for a couple of projects, but they have been sitting untouched for almost 4 months so its doubtful ill get around to working on them.
*THESE ARE STOCK CHROME PARTS, off my Gen II LS that I painted Ceramic white pearl, using paint from paintscratch.com. However, I was never able to quite get them to match my paint. Dumba$$ that I am, I only recently realized Paintscratch never sent me the midcoat, so basically these have primer, basecoat and clear. They are not a perfect match(they're a bit darker), but in certain light they match well. They're just missing those sparkles that you may have noticed from your factory ceramic white pearl paint.
Anyway, these would be good for a project, or a fast and cheap way to get rid of your chrome. They are by no means perfect. They do have some imperfections and chips from use...especially the grille. I used to do a lot of highway driving.
Grille: Asking $55 OBO plus shipping
-structurally sound
-rock chips
-all mounting points intact
-as you can see, i started to peel the plasti dip from the center, so it could use a fresh coat, or just peel it completely to reveal the original grey-ish color.
on the car:
Surround: Asking $65 OBO plus shipping
-overall ok shape.
-2 mounting points in the rear broke while just handling the damm thing. Didn't know they were so fragile. I glued them back on, and even with moderate force they will not budge.
-Some imperfections (pictured).
*light bulbs not guaranteed to work.
on the car:
***$100 plus shipping for both
