Well it's time to replace the front wheel hubs. Was looking at the famous flea-bay site and saw a vendor named DetroitAxle. Has a terrific feedback rating and prices. Has anyone used his wheel hubs, or should I stay with Timken, Raybestos, National etc.?

Why run the unknown on such a critical and zero tolerance part such as a hub or bearing just to save a few bucks?

I have to agree with that try rockauto.com they have fair prices.

My mechanic put Timken on mine last year, about 12k miles and no problems.

I have the Detroitaxle hubs in my LS. Put both sides in at about 6 months ago. No problem so far.

Out of the three Timken, Raybestos, National. I would go with National. They are part of the MOOG group. I found them at a loweer price then the India made Timken.

My Timken wheel bearing was made in Spain. It has been 2 months and about 1200km and so far so good. This is a rear wheel bearing though.
