Front sway bar bushing?

So what can be done? it clunks cuz my bushings shot... so super loose.


Obviously purchase a whole new sway bar... anything on the bushing alone?


BTW i had my sport shocks and crossed drilled/slotted rotors and pads.... and a fuel filter lol **** Pics soon.

Why a whole bar for bushings? Just measure to see which size bar you have and call energy suspension or the likes and order the size you need.

the stealership said they dont service the bushings anymore u must buy the whole sway bar with new bushing

Theirs are just the same old nasty rubber stuff that you're replacing. Measure the bar and contact the company "Energy Suspension" and get the good poly bushings.

Search the threads on this. Depending on what size you have, you find the exact information for the replacement. If you have an 01 Sport, I have some information posted from when I had my done and took pics of the new and what the old ones looked like. i went with the poly energy suspension a year or so ago. Works perfectly. Good luck on that passenger side bracket. lol

I actually just ordered these for my car last night right from E.S.. I noticed the bushings in mine were all cracking while changing out the serpentine belt yesterday. No clunking or anything yet. Kinda of a preventive maintenance thing.

Defintely wont hurt, but from my experience, visual inspection of bushings can be hit or miss. I've had various bushings LOOK terrible over the years, but have still performed just fine for many more miles. I've also had bushings look not bad at all...but allowed excess play in the attached components and needed replacement

Ok. I searched the forum, but confused is it 30mm for Greased verison or what size for non greased? Why would we pick the greased verison?

So i got the measurements, as i took my Ls to my friends lift. He gave me the measurements of 1.25 inches or 31.2 mm still having difficult knowing which ones to order any help plz n ty
