Front left makes noise(creaking) during susp travel when below 40 degrees. Stops making said noise after a couple minutes of driving. Made same noise when I took it out last March in sub 40 weather.. Front end's tight and lubed, but the boot is torn on the uca (keep it lubed)

Whats the deal?

sometimes they just creak. mine did last winter, dad's 89 cougar creaks in the cold and always has.
but probably lower ball joints.

My marquis had a horrible creak all the time on susp travel and was even worse when turning the wheel. It was indeed a bad lbj.

Mine doesnt make noise when turning the wheels and goes away after a couple minutes of actual driving. The only susp parts that have been replaced since my ownership have been the srb's (both sides) and the drivers side lbj. Bought it w/ 123k~ and it now has just about 140k. The uca's are stamped trw iirc. I highly doubt they're the original stuff.

It goes straight as an arrow w/o any vibration or uneven wear on the tires.

As does mine. I did UCA and LCAs not too long ago, but they were junk, so its possible they need to be done again. I get this loud clunk noise when braking, and turning at low speeds, but I'm pretty sure its lower strut rod bushings.
