Front slammed, Dryer leaking.

Hey Guys ...Just to let you know that the ebay link for that 29.00 drier is for the old style not the new style (f6lz-5346-aa) which is $111.28 and cost LVC $80.12.

Not that I am questioning your price Max, cause you do a lit for us!, but my dealer has the dryer listed as $80 also. During my failures I had them order one.

Or maybe it just that prices went up that much? I know Ford loves to do that.

in 1997 the last $ on the f3ly was $101. then it went to a f5lz which was $90. until 1998 when it then went to the newest f6lz for the 111.00 so it really is not that much of an increase in the 10 years...but still it is a lot for that part!!

Yes it is the old #>to a f5lz-aa and then to a f6lz-aa New# should fit older cars but older may not fit newer cars.

So which drier would I need for my 03 Navigator? I have only had this thing for about 4 months and it is acting pretty wiered. Check suspension is coming on, but I think it is only the front passenger that is riding low. It has got real cold here lately seems like that is when it all started. Check suspension only comes on after you drive it for awhile. I am thinking around 20 min or so before I see it in the info center.
thanks
Joe

That is the answer I thought I would get but I am not having much luck over there either. Just thought someone here might know.

thanks

If you want to convert fro CHEAP... go to a junkyard and get the coils and struts out of a Thunderbird and slap them in, you will have to fab up a plate for the rear spring to hold it in, other than that you should be able to do it for $40.

Not sure its that simple buddy boy.

I did it...

The fronts bolt in... and the rears you make a plate out of 1/8" steel, for me a simple project for some not so much.
