What is the black box in the Mark VIII? Never heard of it...

I figured they were talking about the ECU under the dash.

You can get a new ECU from Ford, I got a brand new "re manufactured" one for my 95 LSC about a year ago.

yes,it is the ECU they are referring to,it is often referred to as "the black box" in the media.

On another note, if you have a faulty VRCM how is that going to make you junk your Mark VIII? First, there must be thousands of VRCM's in the junkyards around the country and 2nd you can easily get a manual switch for the fan, no problem...
