Wouldn't it be cool to have this for the LS?
I will be working on a project, its pretty simple. I stole the idea from another member but instead of using the cone shapes I will be using this filter and placeing it dead center of the bumper grill.
Ill have pics up soon but I probably wont start a few days. I'm going on vacation and will be starting it as soon as I get back.
Its pretty easy like I said. I'm going to extend the pipe "from" the MAFS leaving it in the factory position it is in down into the fender via the hole left from the factory intake box's air tube.
Heres my question, I will be needing to start off the intake with a 3" diameter so it fits the hole and there are more filters available in this size to choose from, then I will need to use a 3.5"-3" reducer since our MAFS adapters are 3.5".
Would this lead to any problems with the MAFS seeing on how it starts at a different diameter ( 3" ) but goes to the right diameter ( 3.5" ) before the MAFS?
