Front Bumper Suggestions???

I dreaded ever having to have body work done to my LS but, unfortunately it has happened. While on the highway a tractor trailer's tire blew out and right into my front bumper. I didn't think it would be much damage but it took out my fog light and cracked the front bumper cover. So now that I have the opportunity to replace it, I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions other than replacing it with the same 2000 front bumper cover? Looking at the insurance estimate, I figure I can do whatever I want with replacing it as long as I do the labor myself. Does anybody know if the 03+ front bumper covers are a direct swap or what's involved with that. Or, is another year's cover more desirable than mine. I currently have a 2000 LS with the chrome on the bumper covers. Oh yeah, does anybody have a front bumper cover they don't need or are willing to sell me.
 
swap to LSE; either 02 if you can find one (good luck) or 04 (throw in the 03-up headlights while you're at it).

Have you tried www.bumpers.com? They have replacement bumpers that are already painted. If you don't go that route, then you can always go with the 03+ LSE front fascia conversion.

I was thinking about LSE, but don't you have to get the entire body kit for that? Is the 02 any different from the older ones? Does anyone know if anything else is necessary for the 04 conversion other than the bumper cover and headlights?

Thanks for the link. Turns out bumpers.com has the same price as my insurance quote to have it done at the body shop. What exactly is the 03+ LSE front fascia conversion? I might as well make this accident worth it's while. I'm trying to make a decision by Friday.
 
http://www.certifit.com/ go here. this place is great for all car parts. very very cheap too. i ordered a hood,fenders,front bumper and i recieved it in 2 days. for a different car have not seen if they have LS stuff but maybe.

If not www.car-parts.com that is a database of all the junkyards in the US and the parts they carry... look it up and if none is close they have numbers to everyone you can call and all junkyards ship alot of the time.

On the Gen I's they only made the LSE in 02.

Ok, I really like that one - Thanks. It may be a little more than I was planning on spending. But, I won't have to get the full LSE kit with that right??? Also, if I switch to the 03+ lights I won't get the gap right??? Does anybody know how, what and where to get the hardware necessary to swap the headlights???
 
There was a guy on here a couple of months ago who couldnt seem to give away the 00-02 LSE front bumper cover. Timing is everything I guess..lol
