Front brake question 1998

I replaced my front rotors and pads about 16000 ago. Should the front pads squeek the entire time? I'm guessing no, and now the fronts are grinding a little. I'm going to replace the pads again tomorrow in the freezing cold. We'll see what happened. Anyone else have this problem?

I had my new rotors warp in 2000 miles. All it takes is one :q:q:q:q:q:q:q on the highway to do somethin stupid and you gotta lock up the brakes and then their ruined.

Well I changed my brake pads and the pads looked like they were chipping. I guess just crappy pads. I have new ones and they don't squeak a bit. I guess don't buy the cheap pads.
