Last October I started getting a humming noise when turning left. It progressively got worse, and it became obvious that it was coming from the right front wheel bearing.
Changed the bearing in early January. Have driven ~7,000 quiet miles since then. Yesterday I noticed a very slight hum when the wheel is turned left (even very slightly left). Not sure if its the front or rear at this point. Though the fact that it occurs when the steering wheel is moved even slightly off straight lead me to believe its the front since I'm not really changing direction enough to load up the rear tire.
Is this the front wheel bearing again or can something else cause this problem? Car is a 2000 LS with 123,000 miles.
