so i just got a ticket 4 my tint (its at 18% according 2 the cop) n 4 having a tinted cover on my license plate. VA law is 50% in the front n 35% everywhere else. so instead of bein cool n givin me a ticket i got a court summons. id rather not take the tint off just 2 put it back on later (waste of money). could somebody please provide pics of a black 00-02 LS without tint...preferable from the wheels up as i guarantee no1 has the 1s i do. thanks a million...u guys (my LS family) rock.

Look, you got caught with illegal tint. Now you have to deal with the consequences. Don't blame the cops.... they're just enforcing the law.

In the photo you are asking for, you're not going to submit that to the court, are you? That would be fraud on the court, which is a crime that is much more serious that the stupid tint.
 
here we go with another "how the cops f-ed me" story. You knew what you were getting into when you had the tint put on so deal with it and take your licks.
 
people with that kind of mentality always get caught, and the hard way. You just got caught violating the tint law and to make it worst, now you want a picture for false statements? dude, don't play with fire, just change the tints and tell the court that you've fixed the problem. They can walk out to check your car, and if you don't have it, they won't honor your word over the official.
 
I dont think anyone here is going to help you commit perjury.

Pay the fine.

Yeah, but I guess he thought that if he added that "thanks guys, my LS family rocks!" line that everyone would ban together to help him perjur himself. What a loser...
 
go to the doctor and get a doctor's note for ur tint. I got one and its gotten me out of a fine(was valid in court) and a ticket at least once. I think you might even be able to get the doctors note if you have glasses and complain about your eyes being sensitive to light. They may just say wear sunglasses. my doctors note is for rosacea, my skin is sensitive in sunlight. Im pretty good at rolling the windows down as im getting rolled or rolling them down as a cop is next to me.. but mine is limo all the way around.

PS - If you actually think a printed picture from the internet is gonna get you off the hook then your dumber than you've made yourself out to be. Also, what kind of a-hole puts a tinted cover on their license plate?

Nothing like going from a misdemeanor right up to a felony.
 
every time i have had a fix-it citation. i take my car and ticket to the police station, they sign it off and stamp the citation, charging me like a $10 fee. Then taking the signed citation to court. Im pushing 4 years with my limo tint in the front here in california, knock on wood, i been lucky. iv gotten two tickets for no front plate.

My cousin brought in a piece of paper he printed off his digital camera, and they said "thanks, have a good life". No fine, no problems, take off your front tints and maybe you won't have to deal with this.

I hate driving without tint. Black leather interior gets damn hot so it keeps it cooler. I dont want ppl to see me. And I dont want ppl to see what i have in my car.
Plus IMO i think it makes the car look 100 times better.
20% in the front, limo in the back.
