Fresh and in need of help

What's up everybody. I'm new to the LS scene an definitely new to this forum. I have a 04 V8 LS and don't know much bout it, i.e. horsepower, what type it is actually (LS, LSE, etc). I figure the more I know about it, the easier I can really start doing research to start doin things to it. As of right now I wanna do Angel Eyes and things like that, but when it comes to engine tuning and things like that, I wanna know where I am to begin with. Thanks for the help, everybody on here seems to be really LS smart.

Every army base seems the same.

Hot as hell....lots of trees all over (expect on the firing ranges which are always stupid hot with little or no shade) and lots of misc wildlife (had an fmtv kill a cow when i was at hood the other week).

lol yea that's pretty bad. I don't really like it here, which is why I'm glad I found this site so I can do some stuff with my LS. Now the hardest part will be trying to explain why all the stuff I wanna do is "necessary" to the wife hahaha.
