I was looking in the Mark VIII board here on LvC out of curiosity and I saw this link http://www.fordcds.com/ well I tyred it and I now have the full service manuals for my 02 LS and my 96 T-Bird I cant believe no body from there shared.

It will tell you everything that you need to know about downloading Torrent files. Azureus is one very good torrent client avail at www.Sourceforge.net
After you download the files you have to burn to CD or DVD or use the Daemon tools that are mentioned on another thread on this forum.

i used the one under "Ford Car CD Torrents .NRG (Nero) Format" just pick your year and follow the directions on how to download it and install it
 
Thanks for the info. I wish someone would seed the 2000 manual. I am stuck at 66%.
 
So i want the manual for a 2004 LS,I'm downloading the 2004-2005file under dvd torrant. Does this mean Ineed to have a dvd burner? How can I download a manual for a 2004 LS to burn on a cd? Do I have to burn to a disc? can I just view the manual on the computer?

If I understand this correctly, these are the complete service manuals for your vehicle. It will tell you how to take apart and find just about anything.

These manuals are usually big bucks

You don't have to burn the image file if you don't want to, just use Daemon Tools to mount the DVD and no there is no manual for just the LS.

And yes they are the full service manuals the'll tell how to do everything. You could probably strip the car the the uni-body and rebulid it if you wanted with this.
 
Ok Im Completely Stupid Here. And Everything I Am Reading Is Uhh Going Right Over My Head So Could Someone Tell Me Step By Step What To Do. Also I Dont Have A Dvd Burner. Shoot Me Now

These things are very complete. They have all ford cars for the years listed, not model specific as in just for the 2000 LS. But Silver is right, these are the most complete manuals that you will find. If anyone is having problems getting them to work, PM me and I will help you out.

Silver02Sport, please clarify. Are you saying once the file is downloaded it does NOT have to be burned to a DVD to view/use with Daemon Tools?

I have an '04 LS and downloaded the manual some time back from the site. The file was too large to burn on my standard DVD drive. The only thing I could think to do was go to a Dual Layer DVD, but I didn't care to invest in a new DL DVD burner. So I gave up.

Btw, I can't get to Daemon Tools site right now to check it out myself - "server is busy." - thanks!

Right Daemon Tools is a "Virtual" CD/DVD drive it lets you mount image files in such a way that as far as the computer is concerned its on a physical disc so you don't need to burn it but you do need to keep the file on your hard drive. I use it mainly to so I dont go through a spindle of cd's a week and to test image files I do want to burn to make sure they work before I burn them.
 
Christ!?!?!? 58 minutes to download the "torrent" using BitTornado????? I feel like I'm using Napster on dial-up... what a joke. I could burn the copies of the CD's I already have and send them by carrier pidgeon and it'd be quicker.

BTW... someone looking for a 2000 CD, which I just happen to have ;)
 
I let it run overnight and it finally downloaded to a zip file... which, when opened, reveals an ".nrg" file which I imagine has something to do with Nero. So I'll try and find what to do with that now.

In the mean time, I went on ebay, found the CD I wanted and bought it for $9.00 shipped. Should have it before I figure out this crappola.

Simple you burn the file with nero if you dont have it you can download the demo for free. You could have also downloaded the iso which is a indistry standered file and could be burned with any cdr sowfware it's on the same site just a diffrent torrent file. Or you could simply mount the image file you downloaded in deamon tools and run it from there. A lot easer, cheaper, safer, and faster then spending money on one from ebay.

I downloaded the 04-05 manual again, downloaded/installed Daemon Tools 4.0.3 X86 (Win XP version). Rebooted and have the Daemon icon in the tray. I right click and select Mount Image for Device 0: [E:], select the 04_05.iso file and click on Open. I get a very brief "Please Wait" message from Daemon Tools and then nothing. Any ideas? Hopefully I'm overlooking something blatantly obvious. I feel I'm so frustratingly close!
 
I downloaded BitTornado... which left ample spyware on my machine... and it took an hour to download the torrent, so it's far from safe, fast or easy. I guess it's all a matter of what your time is worth. Mine's worth alot more than trying to figure this out.

Click, buy, ship with ebay!
