Ford HID replacement kit

The t-bird is actully worse then the mark because it has more tq on the low end, But it would help if I wasnt going sideways for 2 miles.:D
 
It was fun driving my 88 tbird 5.0 in the snow. Just as much fun driving the mark in the snow - that is untill i got a set of nokian winter tires - couldn't spin the tires in the snow, or do good fishtales. Those tires got me up and down the hills of Boston through many 8" plus storms. When it snows me and my buddies go racing around industrial parks. Marks are a breeze in the snow if you know how to drive. They suck when compared to AWD or 4WD but you can't have fun in the snow with FWD, AWD or 4WD unless you use the e-brake. LAME! :D

Unfortunately I cannot agree with most of what you said. Really doesn't matter what tires I have on my Mark as it is really a terrible car in the snow period.

My SVX witch is AWD was both the most stable and the funnest as you can toss it into AWD drifting easily with the power it had. Just turn the wheel and mash the gas then when you pet off it would return to fully stable :D

Then for the really nasty stuff I would just drive this...gas ws cheaper then tho :rolleyes:

It is what it is. I understand what you are saying. To me always having rear wheel drive it never bothered me. You have to feather the gas a 'little' and rock the car to get it moving (sometimes) but I never had trouble. My girlfriends FWD tempo and FWD taurus and my FWD MKZ were tougher IMHO. And the TIRES made all the difference in the world! THe snow didn't get stuck between the treads and it would stop going down hill as good as my jeep - moving was a little slower - corners were alot more fun.

Hopefully you never grow up. I had to get rid of my babies. Now I am making up for it with the LSC.
I kept my first car for 15 years (88 Tbird 5.0) Got rid of it about 3 years ago when I dumped my 98 LSC.

The only cars I've ever owned are 88 tbird, 95 Mark VIII, 98 Mark VIII and now my 96 Mark VIII LSC. The one I've always wanted!
The Company gave me the Jeep and now the MKZ.
If you can keep them I would be truly jealous. I would give my soul for my t-bird.

I tried to get rid of my first car..... and it came back a year later.... I'm contemplating selling it again... I don't know though.
