For The Lincoln Owners In Illinois

man it would be nice if they would actually pass it

thats the main reason i havent done mine, clear front and dark rears looks funny. if it passes hell yeah i will

Tint them anyway. The last three times that I`ve been pulled over in one of my trucks, all windows 5%, I didn`t get ticketed. I always just politely tell the officer, "When the state starts giving me a car or truck to drive, then I`ll have untinted windows." I have not been ticketed yet, knock on wood. Probably doesn`t hurt that I don`t have any moving violations on my record.

ask anyone who knows me here and they will tell you "the man" WILL ticket me

the rears only tinted in a car with dark interior looks good, at least I think so. My rears are tinted in the 96 and with the black interior people ask me how dark the front is tinted when its factory.

Our Vic is tinted but that was the way we bought it AZ, haven't been ticketed in IL and have been stopped for it. They found that our title originated in AZ and didn't push the issue.

So what that one guy says on that forum isn't entirely true of every state
