To know you want them, just buy it, you won't regret it, it's a one time chance bite the bullet

Oh man, I almost bought a mark before buying the LS. If I had a mark I'd be all over these. Are Springs needed with these cams?

In my non professional opinion, these would be borderline with the beehive springs. I'd personally run aftermarket springs..

There happens to be a set of these cams on eBay at the moment. The seller has a couple youtube vids of how they idle:

YouTube - comp cams 4.6 DOHC Cobra idle 106400
YouTube - 4.6L Aluminator w/ 106400 COMP cams

Hehe, bite the bullet... Funny, my project started as a dead trans. Then, I figured I might as well run a stall. Then, may as well put in the built 4R70w I had lying around, which this one requires modifying the engine oil pan. Then as long as I have to drop the K-member, might as well do a forged bottom end motor. Might as well do swaybars and hub swap it while I'm in there. Then, might as well keep the spray and Procharge it. I've bitten enough bullets. :D

You do need to run aftermarket springs, imagine having a spring break and drop a valve into your motor! that's a nightmare.

I'd buy livernois springs then you can use your stock retainers.
