208,000 original miles. I am the second owner . . . had it since 2002 (50,000 miles) . . . had been a Lincoln-Mercury dealer's personal car . . . bought it from George Wall Lincoln-Mercury in Shrewsbury, NJ.
Was my daily driver. Minor flood damage (from hurricane Sandy) . . . water got up to lug nuts (just a bit above the door sills) and carpets were wet . . . was only in the water for about an hour and a half at high tide. Starts and runs but air ride suspension went down two days after the storm. Many recently new parts including suspension air bags front and rear, radiator . . . have much of the paperwork for documentation. Lots of other things replaced over the years. Had a professional headlight restoration done a few months before the storm. Needs a new driver's seat . . . six-way adjust system has stripped gears . . . not storm damage. Toreador Red Metallic with clean grey leather interior. Not smoked in . . . ashtrays never got dirty. A few "battle scars" on the body but nothing major. Good tires . . . lots of miles left on them.
Great factory installed JBL sound system . . . 10 CD changer (with two magazines), cassette player, AM(Stereo)/FM(Stereo) radio. V8 motor strong . . . no signs of transmission problems. Plus or minus 20 mpg. Runs fine on regular.
I had a Mark VII LSC (bought brand new '84 from Irwin L-M in Freehold, NJ . . . first model year when it was still also a Continental) before and really loved and took care of this car . . . religious oil and filter changes. Clean title.
It's a "whole car." Would love to have done a ground up restoration but can't handle that right now. $3500 OBO. Sold "as is." Buyer assumes transportation costs. (Car is in Atlantic Highlands, NJ.)
