That depends on the ebay one. Whats the link?

All the Foam Guns, Foam Cannons, and Tornador Air Foamers on AG are all identical with exception to the logo and the canister size.

I personally have a Wolfgang Foam Gun and love it.

I dont see any difference or upside to the ebay one minus small price discount. Either will do the same job. Just make sure the pressure washer fitting is the one you need

is a foam gun what i think it is... like a homemade foam machine? for example on you would see at a "rave" party?

It connects to your conventional hose and mixes with auto bathe to create a super foamy spray that can presoak your vehicle. Then when it comes time to you doing some rubbing by hand it eliminates the chances of paint scratching due to the super lubricated surface.

Usually I don't even have to do to much washing by hand after my presoak. My soap just melts away almost all the dirt and dust.

this makes me feel alot better

I suppose you could always bring a hose inside and spray down some ladies with one. It would make for a very sudsy wet t shirt contest

Yep, that's a foam GUN. A foam CANNON is one that connects to the pressure washer. Lays down a lot thicker foam. This one is even attached to a 1600psi pw:

NICE

I'm jealous now. I wanted to get the cannon initially I just couldn't afford the pressure washer too. Still love the gun though

Come spring I'm definitely getting a 7424 and doing the M105/205 on mine to see if I can get the paint back in shape

Not a bad kit. I haven't used Wolfgang polishes, so I can't comment on those. I also hear the XP can use 6.5" pads (like the kit comes with). The original PC 7424 (which is the one I own) is simply not not strong enough to use 6.5" pads. I only use 5.5" pads with the PC. Well, actually I use 5.5" almost exclusively on both machines (7424 and my Makita rotary).

I have used the sealant. Great wet look. I personally apply 2 coats about 24 hours apart to increase longevity.

I have M105. Great product. I prefer to use it with a wool pad and my rotary.

this is going to be my first time actually doing this myself i was happy with the porter cable because it is safe to use and i cant ruin the paint. i really hope it comes out well. when i got my car it had tons of swirls i think just from the people who owned it before me running it through the car wash so hopefully all will come out well =]

Well, it's not completely idiot-proof. but I don't think you are an idiot, so you should be fine. :D

There's a trick that I had to do with my porter cable to make sure I was not applying too much pressure to the machine. The pad needs to spin about once per second. I took a sharpie, and drew a radius on the backing plate so I could have a point of reference to see how fast the plate was spinning.

yeah i saw a video and the guy from a.g did that too

I haven't been on AG in forever. It seems like they push only the products they carry when there could be better options available. Which they can do whatever they want, it is their site after all. But I choose to visit a little more unbiased forums.

The main detailing site I visit is detailingbliss.com. Though a vendor recently purchased the forum, it's still one of the best, most informative places for detailing. And that vendor (detailersdomain) still allows other vendors on there as well.
