Flashing CEL ?

Im almost sure it's my coil(s) that crapped out on me which is why I have my CEL on. This morning though it started flashing and engine has terrible performance (shaking, muscle car idle, cruddy pickup) but when I shut it off and tirn it back on it was back to normal, odd happening. I think I better park it until i get the coils ordered, but anyone ever have it flash on them?

only after the dealer power washed my motor right before i picked it up, it was pretty bad, i just left the car with them and they called me two days later after they "fixed" it

Flashing means a misfire that is bad enough for the computer to be sure of it, and it is on-going. You should not drive the car as the cats will be damaged.

mine did the same thing after pressure washing engine... after driving it about an hour it went away

Sounds like coils to me. Mine did that all of that too. Read my thread on how to do VCG's, plugs, and coils and NOT blow your engine. There are also a few write-up on the subject in the "tech articles".
