Hey everybody, its been a while!

Anyway, car was stumbling really bad at WOT above 3000 RPM for the last month or 2. Was fine any other time. Checked fuel pressure and it was good. Thought maybe a vaccume leak but never found one after hours of looking. Did complete tune up and still no love. Took off the intake manifold and cleaned everything and replaced gaskets. It was still a turd when trying to go fast. I was frustrated and ready to sell it after 9 years, then I came here and did a search.

5 minutes later I cleaned my MAF and it runs like a freakin dream. I almost sh1t myself when it took off. Time to go back to the track!

So how yall been? Did I miss anything good?

good info there....at least you finally found your problem.

I went to clean the MAF sensor on my p71 vic a couple of months back, and learned the hard way what to and what not to do with a cue tip....Didn't know there were little cross filaments in the maf sensor that attach to the vertical ones...broke off the cross ones without knowing and car wouldn't run until I figured it out.

Congrats on the fix. Just got back on here in the last few weeks. Sold all my Mark VIII's before I deployed and it took me 5 months to get another one after I got back. Now I have 2 again...lol. Welcome back!
