i bought the avic d2 from patrick00ls hooked it up and tried to eject the dvd and no go sounds like its goin to but dont, also most the time it wont read the dvd but sometimes, i can get the nav to work, any ideas and how much?
fix a pioneer HU?

Pioneer charges by the hour, so it could be anything.
Friend of mine sent in one a couple of years ago for the famous ribbon cable problem. cost him about 200 bux with shipping.
Pioneer is NOT the speediest of manufacturers to repair stuff though.
Took them about 5 weeks, IIRC ..

Awesome. Thanks for that link. I bought an AVIC-D1 from an as-is ebay auction :slam and when I got it installed, it doesn't read the navi dvds. Hopefully this guy can help.
