So my brother borrowed my mark the other day and after he came out of a store the fire dept. was surrounding the car, turns out I have a leak in my fuel lines the firemen put putty over the lines just behind the passenger door.

now my question is it a big job to get a shop to replace the fuel lines? also any tips from anybody else who had to replace them.

and yes the car is off the road now till I get it fixed

Not too bad, if you have a lift. Have not done the Mark but did both T-Birds they not too much fun 5 hours including bleeding the brakes. I did them on the ground laying on my back and did all the lines in stainless - cost about $300. Reg steel is much cheaper.
