Yesterday around noon I ordered the Foamaster Foam Cleaning Gun. A lot of professionals are using this tool and it's a great way to pre-soak the car and get a lot of loose dirt off of it before scrubbing. It covers the car in a thick layer of foam, as you can see, and removes most of the dirt before you even touch the car. I'll probably wind up writing a tutorial on how to use it, plus it looks like a lot of fun. I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out.

No offense but how much $$$ did they steal from you when you orderd that thing. I got a bunch of things like that to spray my reptiles and terrariums with, all you would have to do is put some soap in it shake it up, pump it and spray away, pluss you dont need to hook it up to a hose.

Trust me I did my research, they said the other hose attached sprayers such as like the lawn and garden type don't make nearly as much foam and don't put out as much pressure. It was only 60 bucks, it's very heavy duty and comes with a few extras so I'm happy with the purchase and I didn't even get it yet.

what do you put in the container just normal car wash soap?
Yeah I did some research on what soaps suds up the most, I think Meguiars Gold Class is one of the best in the category. There's another kind call snow foam that works in a weird way, its like a sheet of soap on the car. You put a little soap in the canister, 6-8oz of water, shut the cap and shake it up to make it foamy. Then it continues the foam when you spray.

I would imagine it wpould work best with something activated in the foam that is ment to help clean rather than just soap suds that you scrub with.

Regular soap, as in dish-soap? Don't do that, strips off the wax.

Looks cool, but I personally havent had any scratch issues the old fashioned way. I found out that 99% of any scratching issues I did have, were during the drying process, not when I was going over an already wetted surface with a sponge soaked in water/foamy Zip Wax.

I have tried the Gold class and it doesn't even come close to the DP Extreme soap!
