2003 lincoln ls with k&n intake and straight 2.5 inch pipes from the cat back. has an x pipe but does not have resonators. got magnaflow 4 inch tips but you wont see those!!! messed up a little cuz 1. forgot to take advancetrak off, 2. its cold and snowy so i have my stocks back on with suck tires so suck tires+ no grip= no loud exhaust clip without me ramming into car in front of me. also i have a decent camera but youtube always makes some videos sound like :q:q:q:q. wait till i can find a nice little stretch and then ill show you wat it really sounds like at WFOT.

before with magnaflows x pipe and resonator delete
YouTube- lincoln ls exhaust

after with straight 2.5 inch piping form the cat back with an x pipe and the resonator delete.

YouTube- 2003 lincoln ls straight pipe v8 no mufflers/muffler delete!!!!!

I bet that sounds great in person. It doesn't sound as loud as i thought it was going to for just an x-pipe and nothing else

Wow, Sounds beefy. Nice

no sure if that is sarcasm or not, but the 2nd gens either wont rev at all in neutral or have a really low rev limiter. gen 1's will rev to about 3300

Rev limiter on a 2nd gen is the same 3K in neutral and park.

10-4

either way, a neutral rev will end at 3k with horrible stall box sounds. :)

correct, it will probably take 10 minutes to get to the 3k and it will mostly have a whine noise very different from flooring it while its in drive. ill do a video with me drivin down the street as it does get loud while driving but not crazy loud like i thought it would b. i am happy with the results and it sounds like what the magnaflows should sound like on a real muscle car. this will probably gie u guys that are scared to go with straights that little push....i say go for it....

Yo dj those sound sick bro.. Where did you end up getting these from?

wanna know what funny....i originally bought the magnaflow set up from somebody who was one this site, thats how i found out and then joined.....but the set up was wit the mags and the x pipe wit no resonators......that cost me about 300 i think i dont really remember it was awhile ago....n then to put straight pipe in and make some custom hangers for the whole setup and weld on some tips....cost me about 200 bucks, dont really care if i overpaid, but the first time i did it the guy kinda messed up and i only paid about 75 to have it put on n welded, so i just wanted it done right.....save urself the money...just put straight pipe after the muffler n some tips for a decent soundin setup. for a more powerful sounding setup, get an x pipe done for the car, and have it straight pipe all the way after the x pipe. if you want it really loud, i guess you can delete the resonators but it isnt for everybody. i like it loud.....

Part numbers / cost if available? This sounds too sick man. I need that sound....

No offense pete, but this puts your exhaust to shame.... :(

none taken. it does sound great. i don.t want my ls that loud. my truck on the other hand, is almost as loud as it can get. if my car was faster, i wouldn't mind a louder exhaust to match.

That sounds really good! I want to do exhaust after I get all the other stuff I have lying around painted and put on.:D I am leaning towards just replacing the mufflers with Flows. Anyone have video of that setup?

there is a few around, but next time we meet up, you can hear mine in person.
