finally figured it out.. mirror lights.

i got the damned light carrier to come out on the side mirrors but i think its one piece........ i cant figure out how to switch the bulb! anyone know about this? i posted before on how to even take the enclosure out and no one knew... no one that answered at least..... i took some pics of how i did it.. self explainitory by the pics.... i also switched my license plate bulbs.. got some bright white 5 node led's coming in.. prob gonna use them.. just wanted to take them off to make it easier when they come. i think it looks bad arse. tell me what you think......

I dont have those mirrors but from what Ive read on here the bulbs arent replaceable.

You can get the light pods out of the mirrors but you won't be able to get a replacement bulb for it. It's a sealed system. I know since I destroyed one of mine when I had them on my LS.

i mean.. what kind of bulb is in there... also..... you can wire a 194 bulb to it... just rewire the entire thing.. dont use the stock socket. think i may do that.

why wire them to the turn signals? id rather use them what theyre for but put some really bright leds in it so it lights up bright as hell. it would look so nice! gonna see if this custom shop in town can do it for me plus clear my corners.

Yeah, that's why they'd get wired to the turn signals. Beats Frenching in a light fixture to the mirror housing, ya know?

The blue's ok. Kinda dim, though. Those aren't the ones from Ken, are they? If they are, they look a lot different than mine...?

i think im gonna put the bright whites in the license lights along with the rest of my car. anyone know what bulbs the acutal two lights on the side of the plate takes?

I think everything all the relevant wires plug into the FEM by the pedals. I'm gonna try it this weekend.

i wanna get mercedes style turning signal mirrors!! i love em... and i think the blue is a bit dim.. i got hyper whites on ebay for like 5-7 bucks and they're bright enough i like em check em out if u got some time...

when i tried takin my mirror light out i ended up breakin up the plastic piece snapping it in.. so i had to twist n twist n twist and finally got it snug in there again haha
