I got to actualy drive my 94 Mark. Drove it 30 miles.
But the ride does not seem as "plush" as I thought. Maybe I am just crazy.
Car also vibrates at 70mph. Any Idea?
I can hear a funny sound kinda like the compressor keeps trying to adjust the airbags. Is that normal?
I am goin to have the guy at my job rebalance the tire and put the rims on the correct side. The spokes seem to face the wrong way.

1. It's not a Town car. It's a Luxury SPORT Coupe... or a Coupe, depending on which Flavor you have.

2. Yeah. Typical. Get the tires balanced. Have Alignment checked. Buy a Denny's Driveshaft. In that order.

3. You can hear the compressor WHILE you're driving? Damn. Check the compressor rubber mounts. I don't know if the compressor runs much when the car is up to speed, say like on the highway. Do the bags leak?

4. See number 2.

It'll never feel like a TownCar... just expect a smoother Thunderbird.

Front suspension, tires? Could be many things. Tire balance. Balljoints, tierods, alignment....

Depends on how often you hear it. The car drops at 55mph, so once you stop or go bellow that speed for a while, it will have to raise that inch. But if you hear it frequently filling up at regular speeds, then you have a leak in your air suspension somewhere.

Good luck with the car. They do require a good deal of attention. They were alittle to far ahead of their time, by a couple years.

I have a '93 Mark VIII that is more trouble than my girlfriend.

Thanks guys. I will have it all checked. Whats the best way to check for leaks in the air bags?

When the car is aired up turn the air ride switch in the trunk to the off position and drive it around for a few days. If you come outside one morning and it is slammed, your bags are leaking.
