Today I bought a set of some 18" Falken Koblenz with a +38 offset from our member Jaysal555. The wheels are in great shape and the price was awesome!! :D

Pics soon when I receive the wheels...

OK...so now my new problem is the wheel size since I have Sprint Springs.I have been debating to use 245/45/18. What do you guys suggest??

With that offset combined with lowering springs combined with 18's, you WILL rub with a 45 series tire. You are going to need a 245 40 18.

Yup, you're gonna rub with that tire size and offset - I did with my KMCs. Either a 235/40 (if that's even made) or 245/40 should work. Might even still have to do some fender lip rolling/trimming.

Yep go with 245/40/18s to eliminate the possibility of rubbing. Also that height looks nice on 18s, not too tall. nice wheels.

Those Koblenz are seriouse wheels man. I cant wait to see what they look like on a LS.

Im so fking pissed...after the guy tells me that it was $100 shipping by UPS he told me that when he went to the UPS Store they wanted $300 for shipping and that he is going to check USPS but it will be more costly. I think that if he made a compromise of selling me those wheels on that price than he should stick to it when he told me shipping and everything

they need to go straight to UPS, the UPS Stores add alot to the freight cost.

I dont really care what he does as long as he keeps his word and send me the wheels. Since I sold my stock ones and my car is without wheels.

Here's a quote of what he wrote me when I asked him shipping:

i havent looked into usps. ups was $100 about $25 a wheel. Ill do $350 shipped.

I cant wait to see what he tells me tommorrow because im going to tell him to send the wheels and since he made a deal with me he has to go forward with it. and we even agreed both parts for the price, shipping, addresses everything

I feel your frustration, but no one will send out something that they will not make any money on. You agreed on $325 and its $300 for shipping alone. No individual will eat that kind of money just to keep their word.

When i sold my rims USPS was MUCH cheaper than UPS (as they always are).. you must ship each rim separately, and be sure to keep each box under certain dimensions (i forgot what dimension, but check the site), i sold mine with tires on and total came to around $90...But thats a great deal your getting if he ships

Fonsito is also in Puerto Rico. I remember I was selling wheels before and I couldnt get my price down far enough because of the shipping costs to him. $100 for all 4 wheels is the norm to ship within the US. Outside of the us the price goes WAY up.

Thats remarkably cheap for those wheels regardless. Those wheels sell for a lot of money.

I hear what your saying about a deals a deal...

Maybe a business would still do it, but a guy who doesn't do this for a living? I wouldn't count on it. I guess i'd ask myself what's the fair thing to do. I'm all for someone making their cut, and as long as neither party is getting ripped off, I'm happy. But this sounds like he made an error in his estimating. If you don't like the new shipping amount, he should refund your money, and you find another set of wheels.

Just my .02

Oh crap, I just saw that you sold your wheels before receiving the new ones. I'm sorry, dude. That REALLY sucks!

I had a customer order a houseful of replacement windows from me. They were set to arrive on December 10th (middle of winter here). I told the customer I would call when they came in. Well, December 10th comes around, and at about 12:30 I get a call saying the truck went into the ditch on it's way here, damaging the entire shipment. I get a call at 1 pm from my customer, stating that they've pulled all the windows out of the house, and wondering when we're going to be delivering the windows to the site. An order of windows takes 2-3 weeks, so you can imagine how happy they were.

Just letting you know that it could be worse. Not to say that it's not a bad situation you're in, but it could be terribly worse.
