Hi all! It's been a while since I've posted here, mainly due to the fact that I no longer own a cadillac. Anyway, my fiance owns a 92 Eldorado and she's having issues with it. First, the brakes have been acting up. The front right caliper appears to be frozen. Would replacing the caliper be the only way to fix this issue? Next, when she starts the car she turns the key over and the starter spins but it doesnt turn the motor. It takes a few key turns to get the motor to begin tuning over. It isnt that the battery is low, but it's like the starter teeth arent locking into the teeth on the flywheel(or whatever the equivilent is on an automatic) to turn the motor over. Also, after a good rain, the headliner inside the car is soaked and a brisk stop will bring a nice stream of water down on our heads. She has a sunroof and believes the seal is leaking. I believe there are drain tubes that run by the back windows to allow pooled water in the sunroof well to drain. If those exist in these cars, could they be plugged? Finally, for now, the service ride control message is present. What are options here?
Thanks!
