fender trim

Ok so I've searched past posts and didn't see anything. Can anyone tell me how to remove the small strip with LS on the fender ? Is it bolted or are there clips holding it on ? Sorry if this is a repost ! If There's a post can someone give me a link to it. Thanks !

It is glued on with double sided tape, use dental floss, pops right off.

I remember reading a post about this awhile back. I think someone said it had bolts holding it. I remember because this is something I'll be doing in the future.

Alright. That's a good start. Ill try the floss this afternoon. ill post back when I try after work

214rod is correct about the strip, the badges are taped on. Sorry about the confusion.

Yep its tape. But floss is no good when its cold. I used a hair dryer to loosen the tape first. A little tug on the lip facing the door and it pops off.

Another LVC member was interested. I priced it at $20 . Not knowing what a small flat rate envelope costs with insurance. They didn't want it. Ill just have it Painted and put them on the 06. For some reason Lincoln opted not to add the chrome LS badge on the fenders. I just noticed it tonight !
