What would everyone be willing to pay for, if they were in the market, for a '00 LS V8 Sport. Black with tu-tone tan interior. Everything stock except flip up CD/NAV stereo. 120k on miles and EVERYTHING works on the car. Downside is it has a salvage title, but has been professionaly repaired.

Back right side having been slightly smacked into damaging the tailight and bumper cover, and putting a dent in the sheetmetal around the same place.

Yea, MAYBE a grand on top of shipping, If local, then like 1500 bucks.

I know resale is pretty bad in perfect shape with a good title. This is a car a buddy I work with has and was wanting to know how much he could get for it. I honestly don't know.

in great condition I say 4000 but that's with much lower miles than you have....suprising I have 35k miles less than you :-D

So, you both have broken 00 LS's (I see there's one in your sig as well)?

Mine's down big time. :( My friend's looks brand new and has been totally repaired and drives it everyday.

give him a grand for his and swap everything over
Yeah, that's an idea.:D

I think his feelings are going to be a little hurt when I tell him the consensus even though I agree. I believe he picked it up for a total of $2400 or so at an auction. Then had it repaired. Ouch! :slam

Goddamn he got ripped off. Yeah I would just buy it and swap everything over. That car will never be worth anything with the salvage title any way.

Totally true.

.1) I know he wouldn't sell it that cheap even though he's upside down.
.2) I have so much time and money invested in my car and in parts I wouldn't buy it. Mine ran like a sewing machine till awile back.
.3) His car is in perfect shape (now) and runs and looks good. Would hate to part it out.
.4)He's just gonna have to get "sprayed" when he sells it unfortunetly. Make a good driver for whoever buys it.

if he fixed it why sell it... drive the thing and get your money out of it....
