Factory radio question

Perhaps on the "reject" part.....but , the one I recieved was definately new.

while i'm not saying that your radio was not new, no one can be 100% sure

for the record, i had to have my last phone replaced 4 times from Verizon under warranty, every time it was a refurbished unit. however they all looked brand spanking new, including the piece of plastic over the screen. basically Verizon used old tested and repaired internals and wrapped them around brand new cases.

the point of the story is that just because something either looks new, or somebody says that it is new, doesn't necessarily mean that it truly is new. there is no way to know how the seller acquired the radios, hopefully they are not being dishonest, but then again, it has been known to happen on Ebay a time or two.

I would think that it would be very hard to tell new from installed, tested, failed, and removed - all before the car left the factory.

Black- Yes. You'd have to check the connections. I have everything but the front center console speakers.
